Speakeasy BBQ was birthed out of the stay home order surrounding the pandemic of 2020. We operated under the radar for several months.

With restaurants closing and people getting fed up with restrictions, long lines, and your own home cooking.

During the Prohibition in the 1920s Speakeasy’s were also called blind pigs or blind tigers, inspired by the hidden spots to get a drink. Speakeasy were often small and almost impossible to find bars with an intimate crowd and a good time to be had for all. Speakeasy’s are almost impossible to find. They are often nothing more than a none descript door and barely any signage to be seen.

You won’t find any booze here. Just delicious home-style BBQ.
